Anonymous Complaints

Creative development of an immutable, anonymous complaint platform

Building Anonymous Complaints was a deep dive into solving a big societal problem — how do we let people safely speak up in environments where fear, censorship, and manipulation are all too common? This project brings together blockchain, privacy, and user empowerment in a way that felt both technically exciting and socially meaningful.

The platform allows users to submit immutable, anonymous complaints using the Ethereum blockchain and crypto wallet authentication (MetaMask). Complaints can't be deleted or tampered with, and everything is out in the open for full transparency. We used IPFS for decentralized storage and crafted a React.js frontend backed by a Node/Express server to tie everything together. It’s built for real impact, with use cases ranging from workplace issues to civic concerns.

It was a challenge thinking through problems like false reports, gas fees, and moderation without central control, but it made the process even more engaging. We thought ahead too — exploring future ideas like AI moderation, DAO governance, and multi-chain expansion.

I’m proud of what Anonymous Complaints stands for — a space where voices can be heard without fear. It’s not just a tech project, it’s a tool for change.
